The artists' gift of beauty is all around us, whether created by man or nature, we can find something artistic in very simple things. The corner on a bombe chest in my living room.
Beautifully woven tapestry on a cushion.
Dead sea salts mixed with seaweed for bathing.
Some of my jewellery hanging on a closet door.
The remaining trunk from the tree that the storm last year tore down.
A copper wind ornament.
A small piece of one of my paintings.
Mosaic glass tiles on a hurricane lamp.
The top ornament on a stand in my bathroom.
The beautiful is in nature, and it is encountered under the most diverse forms of reality.
Once it is found it belongs to art, or rather to the artist who discovers it.

From the little bit I can see of your yard - looks very green and pretty out there. Love the necklaces also.
Vickie, That is actually my neighbours garden, but yes it is very "apple" green around here right now ... my favourite time of the year.
I'm loving the details of your home Barb. Great photos.
I absolutely love that painting of yours. The colour is outstanding. I often wonder how artists can capture the world so well on canvas. How does it get from the mind to the paintbrush? It awes me. You got the light and colour so perfectly matched to the real thing that it looks like a snapshot.
