Beautiful Ethiopia

Come along with me to the paleolithic era and visit the tribal lands in the southern Ethiopian Rift valley ... where Lucy * was discovered. This remains one of the most remote and untraveled areas of the world still left.

Here is a magnificent slide show of Ethiopia ..... the country where my daughter, Sebrina and I traveled, to pick up my granddaughter Gabriella and bring her home to her forever family.

Here you will see the raw beauty of this country as well as many pictures of its' proud and extraordinarily beautiful people.

I have linked the pictures to the words "slide show" above.

Just click on the words slide show to view it and ....... ENJOY!!!

*Lucy was discovered on November 24, 1974 in Hadar which is found in northern Ethiopia. She was identified as a female. In life, she would have stood approximately 3.5 feet tall and weighed between 60 to 65 pounds. It was believed she lived approximately 3.2 million years ago. Lucy remains the oldest and most complete adult human ancestor fully retrieved from African soil.

I am fascinated by the story of Lucy because it's our story and it tells us a little something about where we came from.
What a gorgeous country, pictures, words you shared.
