The flakes were big, wet and stuck to everything.
How pretty is this ... like a picture postcard.
Trees bent down low under their burden of snow, my small garden ornaments went under cover and my cast iron furniture looked like a white frosted cake.

Barb, how funny to see these pictures now when life and the year has moved on.
But I thought I'd dip back into the archives like I do sometimes.
It makes me realise that every day is precious, no matter how awful the weather. Life is short. I wouldn't want those chilly months back but they are part of our lives anyhow.
